Complete Praise Dance Troupe began its ministry in July 2001 after performing for a family reunion where the anointing of God fell upon the entire room. With no formal training or instructors, these energetic young people under God's anointing, consistently choreograph and perform a quality of dance that is distinct from that of the world.

The troupe consists: Onjel, LaShé, Loretta, Kyneshia, Michael and Deanté. As the primary choreographer, God has gifted and anointed Deanté to choreograph dances that flow in the Spirit with gracefulness and conviction.

In the beginning, the troupe was known as “Complete Praise and Mime Dance Troupe.” In the tradition of the mime, they danced in mime makeup. However, even though the dance choreography may at times still include mime movements, the troupe, in obedience to their Pastor, eliminated the makeup. In doing so, the audience will not be distracted by any natural outward appearances. Instead, a supernatural fellowship is experienced by all as the troupe ministers with such fervency that, as with Moses, God's glory, and it alone, is all that is seen radiating from each of their faces as they dance before Him.

The life lessons learned as faithful members of the Christian Tabernacle Church where their spiritual father is Pastor Maceo L. Woods have given the troupe a sincere desire to use their talent to give glory to God with Christian dignity and gospel elegance. They have committed their lives to Him, and as an expression of love for Him, they dance.
